Our Error

Jesus explains the problem of men and women alike. We love darkness as light and hate the light of God, who is Christ. Unfortunately, we do not understand, this love of darkness is our condemnation. No wonder Jesus said,

“Therefore take heed that the light

which is in you is not darkness.”

Luke 11:35 NKJV

How hard it is to discern the type of light which is in us. Our love for darkness is a horrible blinding of reality. Darkness is all around us. It is like the end of the day when night comes to snatch away the day. The darkness of our thoughts come to snatch away the light of truth from our hearts. Our affinity for darkness allows it to reign and rule us. It was at night when the darkness of Judas went out to betray his Lord. The author of this darkness, in Judas, was his love of darkness over the light, Christ. This allowed the Prince of Darkness, Satan, to enter him. This happened at the last supper. Christ was in the middle of the disciples. However, darkness was there too.

John and Peter want to know where the darkness was in the room. They asked Jesus.

Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it.” And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.” But no one at the table knew for what reason He said this to him. For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus had said to him, “Buy those things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor. Having received the piece of bread, he then went out immediately. And it was night.

John 13:26-30 – NKJV

The lesson is plain, Darkness can come upon anyone! Why? Because, our affinity is for it! The solution to darkness is Christ. The victory over darkness is clinging to Him!

“For You are my lamp, O Lord; The Lord shall enlighten my darkness.” 2 Samuel 22:29 – NKJV

Come to the Light today, you who love darkness.

Stay in the Light today, you who know Christ.

Very great posting. The Bible say woe unto them that call evil good, the thing is that the darkness that man kind is so attracted to has its glittering looks and soothing sounds. This is the era of strong delusion It is so hard when your eyes are open to see the evil that man run after believing that it is good
