A World Filled With Watchmen!

Are we, God’s children walking in the vision of our Father?

You may say, “Yes, we are! After all, we are saved.

Well you may be saved, but after salvation are you walking in the vision of God?

Okay, mister what are you trying to say about walking in the vision of God?

And by the way, what vision are you talking about?

The vision I am talking about is the vision Jesus proclaims in the model prayer or the Lords Prayer. In this prayer, Jesus expresses the heart vision of God the Father.

Let’s listen to the vision as we read it.

In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be

Your name. Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:9-10 NKJV

This is the vision of God, His will and reign on earth in the heart of people, as it is in heaven.

Therefore, are Christians in this vision. The vision of God’s will, actually reigning on earth. If we are Christians, we are people who are citizens of the Kingdom of God and of His Christ. This is now our only purpose for remaining on this planet, to promote His will and His will only.

When Christians step into this vision, it is a joy to the Father. However, be sober, when God’s Kingdom comes, it will collide with a violent force on the kingdoms of this world and its prince, the devil. The lesson of the martyrs is clear about this. Nevertheless, they entered the vision of the Father placing His will to be done above their own. They knew this truth from Paul.

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” 2Timothy 3:12 NKJV

The call is for all God’s children to enter the vision. Great and small, weak and strong alike. He is wanting us to proclaim His kingdom! Will you enter in and be like Ezekiel, who proclaimed God’s will be done and God’s Kingdom come, by becoming a watchman.

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me.” Ezekiel 3:17 NKJV

Enoch, in days of old, was a watchman to the pre-diluvian people.

“Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.'”

Jude 1:14-15 NKJV

I believe, you like me, feel the weight and gravity of entering the vision of the Father. Humanly speaking, it is daunting and a little frightening. There is always an internal wrestling match for us to conquer. The fear and self-preservation emotions are hard to put down when facing the watchman stand of God’s vision. The martyrs of today, all over this world in this time bid us to enter in.

May the Spirit of Power and Love and Sound mind fill us and enable us to enter the vision of our Father. What a glory to hear the watchtowers filled with watchman proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven.

The example of the Son of God entering the vision of the Father, the salvation of the world through the cross.

“And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, ‘Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.’ Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”

Luke 22:41-44 NKJV

Very nice posting While reading I was thinking about Jesus’ prayer before he went to the cross but I saw that you wrote it. Jesus had gave us example of the Father’s vision for the will of the Father. He said in John 5: 17 “But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work” and Jesus also said in John 6: 38 “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me”
My desire is not my will but the will of the Lord Jesus Christ be done and when it is not His will it disturbs my heart.
